Sony Walkman WM-30 in excellent condition and in full working order after refurbishment. The Walkman comes with a carry bag but no headphones. The WM-30 was the last but one of Sony’s high end extendable Walkmans, a series that began with the WM-10. A new Deck Tech belt has been fitted. Head, pinch roller and capstan have been checked and cleaned. The head has been demagnetised. Mechanism lubricated and motor oiled. Volume control pot cleaned with Deoxit. Circuit boards checked and cleaned. Playback quality is very good (watch and listen to the video). The Walkman is in excellent condition. The door and rear cover show evidence of minor abrasion but there are no major scratches or scuffs. There is a small mark on the bottom of the silvered edge of the door (see photo 20). Please study all the photographs carefully using zoom to see finer details. The battery cover is intact and fully functional. The foam cushion on the inside of the cover had degraded and has been replaced. The battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion. If you have any questions – please ask.
