The second generation of Sony’s one of the best Walkman range at the time, the DDII. This black unit is working wonderful and i. T’s in good condition. I have serviced it. Battery compartment is clean. Service what I have done to it. Cleaned and greased the mechanics. Replaced a new center gear. Replaced a new rubber ring for the capstan. Adjusted the tape speed. Cleaned the volume potentiometer. Cleaned the tape head and pinch roller. Replaced some wrong and missing screws with the right ones. Replaced the missing battery cover. Wiped well with cleaning cloth. Only downside is that it’s missing the window as you can see. You can still nicely use the Walkman. It’s easy to fix if you find an other door as it’s held only with two screws or then you find the window and glue it.
