This is a Sony cassette player. Since it is stored at home, there are scratches on the surface. Playback, fast forward, rewind, radio, etc. Have all been confirmed to work using dry batteries. I don’t think the remote control works as well. The internal rubber belt has been replaced with a new one. A separate battery is required for use.
