This AIWA HS-PX505 is fully operational and sounds fantastic. This involved completely cleaning and restoration of the mechanism, correct belt replacement, as well as replacement of all needed capacitors. The device has been adjusted for correct speed and Dolby level. This is one of the later models where they were no longer using the bi-azimuth heads. Both directions of playback work correctly, and all features work perfectly. This is one of the rarest and best sounding AIWAs, and one of the only models that contains the BBE slider. A very rare feature in AIWA portables. On top of that, you also have DSL which offers intensely powerful bass and loudness enhancement. This model has very good wow and flutter performance. This model is almost immaculate in terms of cosmetic. It will come with a AAA battery adapter.
