Sony’s legendary second Walkman model, WM-2. This specimen plays nicely tapes as it provides. Good sound quality in stereo. REW and FF work great. This model was originally in black colour but it had engravings made on the casing so I decided to change it to a very nice condition having grey case and door. Here isn’t battery lid. Service what I have done to it. General cleaning of the interior and exterior. Cleaned the tape head and pinch roller. Cleaned the volume potentiometer and the tape type switch. Polished the cassette window. Cleaned and greased the mechanics. Replaced with a new rubber belt. Adjusted the tape speed. Sound test can be heard from here.
