The second generation of Sony’s one of the best Walkman range at the time, the DDII. This black unit is providing very nice sound in stereo. It’s visually in wonderful condition. Battery compartment is clean. Service what I have done to it. Cleaned and greased the mechanics. Replaced a new center gear. Replaced a new rubber ring for the capstan. Replaced one broken capacitor with a new one. Cleaned the volume potentiometer and switches. Cleaned the tape head and pinch roller. Added some missing screws for the casing. Added the missing battery cover. Polished the cassette window. Cleaned the interior and exterior. Sound test can be heard from here.
