Pictured and up for sale is this vintage Pioneer CT-F1000 cassette player/recorder. This unit comes with the original owners manual with schematic, rack mount handles, and the pictured Pioneer labeled (not oem) blank cassette, but no other accessories. The Pioneer CT-F1000 is the deck with everything, including 3 heads, automatic Cr02 tape detector, multiple bias and equalization settings, pitch control, memory stop, mpx filter, tape slack canceller, oscillator, full auto stop, solenoid operated buttons and more. The exceptional playback and recording heads are made from a single Ferrite crystal each, instead of the usual grains of Ferrite, and the high quality DC servomotor ensures low levels of wow and flutter. This unit has been serviced and is working perfectly. The service included the following which almost all universally need replaced/reworked on these vintage decks. NEW FF/REW motor pulley. Rebuilt clutch (this and the new motor pulley are what bring the Forward Fast and Rewind back into spec). Re-capped power supply (13 caps). Heads and tape path cleaned and demagnetized. Pots and switches all cleaned and lubricated. New tape sensor micro-switch. Cosmetically it has some scuffs at the top edge towards the right on the perimeter of the face, on the tape head cover front there is an indentation, and there are some paint flaws to the cover. These defects are pictured. The manual has a 1/4 split in the spine at the top edge. All old, removed parts will accompany the unit. USA (contiguous 48 states).
