Sony Walkman WM-22 in excellent condition and in full working order after service and belt change. The Walkman comes with an original Sony carry strap but no headphones. A new quality Fix Your Audio belt has been fitted. Head, pinch roller and capstan have been checked and cleaned. The head has been demagnetised. Mechanism lubricated and motor oiled. Volume control pot cleaned with Deoxit. Circuit boards checked and cleaned. The play, rewind and fast forward functions are all working perfectly. The fast forward/rewind gear has been fitted with a new top hat washer and circlip as the original had split (see photos 23 & 24) – this is a common repair issue in this series of Walkmans. Playback quality is very good (watch and listen to the video). The door and rear cover show evidence of minor abrasion and minor scratches (see and zoom on photos 5 & 11). Please study all the photographs carefully and use zoom where necessary. The battery cover was missing and has been replaced with a securely fitting 3D printed copy. The battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
