Please see photos for condition, in excellent condition, I have changed the belts internally and it plays perfectly. One small imperfection to mention, the spring that holds the door shut is not original and can become dislodged making the door fall open, the spring is located through the battery compartment and just needs pushing down with a small screw driver if it becomes unseated. All original, in case, does not come with headphones.

Sony Walkman TPS-L2 in very good condition and in full working order after refurbishment and replacement of belts. The Walkman comes with its original Sony case. Both belts have been replaced with new precision DeckTech belts. The ornament surrounding the controls has been replaced as has the and the mains adapter input plug. The play head, pinch roller and capstan have been checked and cleaned. The pinch roller assembly has been replaced. The head has been demagnetised. The rubber on the internal drive wheels has been cleaned. The motor has been lubricated. The mechanism has been lubricated. The motor speed has been calibrated. The volume controls have been cleaned and with Deoxit. The circuit boards have been checked and cleaned. The azimuth has been adjusted. The unit is in very good condition both inside and out. The door, front and rear cover show signs of abrasion and there are a few marks on the paintwork but nothing major. Please study all the photographs carefully using zoom where necessary. The battery compartment and contacts are clean and clear of corrosion, as is the circuitry. The battery cover and opening switch are intact and fully functional. The controls are all functioning and playback quality is very good. The volume control is smooth and not’scratchy’. If you have any questions – please ask.
