A beautiful mid-80s cassette player / recorder by Onkyo. All belts are new. The problematic bias knobs that plague these units were replaced with modern high reliability units. This is a fully featured three head deck, with a futuristic and classy look. You certainly don’t see those rosewood side panels every day! The mechanism is by Sankyo – they also built the internals for Nakamichi decks of the era. If this were a Nakamichi it would cost a lot more – but it isn’t. This is a Good Thing. This unit apparently got very little use – but there are a few nicks and marks. Pictured is a scratch on the front faceplate; as well as a rough spot on the top of the right side wood panel. Nothing outrageous, the unit presents very well. I take pride in my work and would like you to receive it in good condition.
