ABOUT THE PIONEER CT-F750. The Pioneer CT-F750 is a distinctive late-1970s cassette deck designed during one of Pioneer’s strongest periods of analog audio engineering. One of its most notable features is its auto-reverse recording and playback system. Pioneer period literature describes the CT-F750 as a 3-head auto-reverse cassette deck using a stationary 4-track record/play head together with separate erase-head functions for forward and reverse operation. Unlike designs that depend on a rotating record/play head assembly, the CT-F750’s stationary head arrangement was engineered to maintain consistent tape-to-head alignment while allowing recording and playback in both directions. The deck also features a two-motor transport, Dolby Noise Reduction, fluorescent level metering, multiple tape-type selections, independent recording level controls, and the classic silver-face Pioneer styling that makes this generation highly recognizable. The CT-F750 uses a stationary 4-track record/play head configuration designed specifically for bidirectional recording and playback. This allows the deck to provide auto-reverse operation without requiring the primary record/play head to rotate each time tape direction changes. For vintage cassette enthusiasts, this is one of the CT-F750’s most interesting engineering features and one of the characteristics that distinguishes it from more conventional cassette mechanisms of the same era. The front-panel tape selector supports the major tape formulations used during the cassette era. Standard / Normal tape. CrO? / Chrome tape. This gives the CT-F750 useful flexibility for both playback and recording across a wide range of vintage cassette media. PROFESSIONAL SERVICE & REFURBISHMENT. Radio function was on original remote. Sought after GREEN KEY & YELLOW DBB model with amorphous head, working wireless receiver, AA battery adapter, and carry pouch. This unit has undergone extensive restoration work with all electrolytic caps replaced, all rubber replaced, new pinion gear and new clutch. The speed is set perfectly and the wireless receiver is fully functional and complete with clip plus a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use you own headphones. This is a pretty rare unit but it’s missing the original receiver that had the radio built in. So even though this model is listed as having a radio it has no radio. The included rcv works perfectly but is not the original for the unit.
