1985 Sony Walkman WM-50 in good condition and in full working order after refurbishment and replacement of belts. The unit comes with its original carry bag and original carry strap. The belt has been replaced with a new precision DeckTech belt. The play head, pinch roller and capstan have been checked and cleaned. The head has been demagnetised. The mechanism has been cleaned and lubricated. The motor speed has been calibrated. The volume control pot has been cleaned and with Deoxit. The circuit boards have been checked and cleaned. The unit is in good condition both inside and out. There are abrasions on the casing and window but no major scratches (see photos in particular). Please study all the photographs carefully and use zoom to see finer detail. The battery compartment and contacts are clean and clear of corrosion, as is the circuitry. The battery cover and opening switch are intact and fully functional. The controls are all functioning and playback quality is very good (watch and listen to video).
