Hello and Welcome on. Walkman is in very good working condition, all features works in normal parameters and sound is powerful. Walkman has been restored and the old/broken parts was changed with new ones (new center gear kit installed, capstan rubber and pinch roller), the mechanism was completely disassembled, geased and thoroughly cleaned of dust and impurities. Walkman was recapped and all capacitors have been changed. Tape head demagnetized, mechanism / circuit boards checked, motor speed calibrated and. Adjusted azimuth tape head. As you can see in the pictures, the Walkman is in top aesthetic condition, has been kept in perfect condition and has been used occasionally. Walkman it comes with SONY Protective Cover and TDK Audio Tape. All you can see in the pictures will be included in package. This Walkman is in excellent condition all around! The inside and outside of the unit have been cleaned. White lithium grease has been applied to the gear mechanism, the tape heads have been cleaned carefully and a brand new drive belt has been installed to ensure best performance. Sony Walkman cassette player. Original Sony belt clip. Brand new JVC gumy earphones. All features have been tested and are working perfect! Radio working, DIR auto reverse working, tape player working. The battery compartment is in great condition, springs perfect but does have some light rust residue one side, this does not affect the use or performance of the unit. Unit does have usual wear due to age and use. But the outter casing is near mint! See pictures for more details.

The polished yellow body is very good while the lap counter buttons show a little wear (see photo). The radio and cassette’deck’ are in working order, however the Mega Bass switch is set to medium and the AVLS switch set to off. An internal switch control sets tape EQ and stereo/mono, mono helping to reduce background noise. A battery is included as is a BBC Kevin Turvey Investigates cassette. There is no belt clip.
