Age-related marks and signs. Please study the photos and pay attention to details, to avoid misunderstandings. Sick of small cubic soulless network players giving you headaches where to install it on your system and having no feelings when you are using it? Now you have the opportunity to have something different for your hi-fi system matching the other units from the shelves and to amaze your friends with it! The Volumio software is rated as an audiophile software and is compatible with many DAC boards too many to list them here, in case you wanna upgrade the actual DAC installed. To keep the cost of manufacturing the player low, decided to go with the PIRATE AUDIO DAC board with a very good DAC, the PCM5100A DAC who gives you crisp 24-bit / 192KHz digital audio signal to feed your amplifier. The output level can be controlled from the deck. You can use the deck phones output if you wanna listen on headphones. External USB cable if you want to connect an extra USB stick with music if the internal storage is not enough. Can be connected to a TV from the PI HDMI output (it will require an HDMI cable, not included in this setup). Power off for the PI from the main switch of the deck. What is inside, brand new. One RASPBERRY PI 4 with 4GB RAM with cooling system. One 32 GB SD card internal storage. PIRATE AUDIO DAC board. 4inch HDMI Display. Raspberry PI power supply. Bits and bobs. When powered on, it will take up to 60 seconds for the PI to boot, again be patient. A user manual will be provided to guide you from the initial setup and thru the basic user interface with the player. Plenty of additional information on the VOLUMIO software site. I will do my best to offer after sale support and initial setup in case you encounter any issues. In the sale price is included the hardware and the labour done to assemble it, the basic software installed is for free, no commercial purpose or profit from the basic software. If interested to convert you own deck or you have a PI laying around contact me, basically can be installed on most decks or other hifi components but sometimes with limited option by the deck design.
