This is a Philips Pocket Memo 488 (LFH488) MiniCassette Voice Recorder. This will work with MiniCassettes but not MicroCassettes. A voice recorder is also sometimes known as a dictaphone – it is used to record audio e. Dictation, lectures, notes, interviews, etc onto a cassette which can then be played back at a later date. End-of-letter index tone indicates the start of each document and number of recordings. Sensitivity switch for conference or close-range recording. Voice-activated recording for hands-free dictation. Fast access to any part of the tape with turbo wind. Dimensions: 128 x 62 x 25 mm. Will my cassettes work in this unit? This unit uses MiniCassettes. It will play and record on MiniCassettes. MiniCassettes are easily confused with MicroCassettes. If you are unsure what type of cassette you have, please check the size of your cassette. A Mini-Cassette measures 2 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ (55mm x 33mm). A Micro-Cassette measures 2″ x 1 1/2″ (50mm x 33mm). Do you provide a guarantee? May I collect the item in person?
