A feature-packed walkman from the late 80’s, although a little bit on the chunky side, unit plays great after being refurbished and brought back to its full glory. Deep cleaned, some ribbons and cables have been soldered. 2 new belts, running smooth. Tape head has been cleaned and demagnetized. All components have been cleaned and lubricated. Sound is 4/5 impressively clear sound, unit has great volume range, with only distortion heard on the highest levels with ear deafening sound. Reproduces good sounds even with noise reduction off, only negative for some would be a slightly bass leaning sound, but has good mid and highs too. Cosmetically this unit has all labels and buttons intact, only the edges and lcd screen have heavy signs of wear, but the color really masks most of it. For having such a heavy plastic build its feel solid to hold and operate and even has a very operational belt clip. Type: Auto Reverse Cassette Recorder. LCD screen with Clock.
