Radio function was on original remote. Sought after GREEN KEY & YELLOW DBB model with amorphous head, working wireless receiver, AA battery adapter, and carry pouch. This unit has undergone extensive restoration work with all electrolytic caps replaced, all rubber replaced, new pinion gear and new clutch. The speed is set perfectly and the wireless receiver is fully functional and complete with clip plus a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can use you own headphones. This is a pretty rare unit but it’s missing the original receiver that had the radio built in. So even though this model is listed as having a radio it has no radio. The included rcv works perfectly but is not the original for the unit.

The first generation of Sony’s one of the best Walkman range at the time, the DD. This green unit is playing cassettes smoothly and i. T’s in great condition. Battery compartment is clean. Service what I have done to it. Cleaned and greased the mechanics. Cleaned the PCB. Replaced a new center gear. Replaced a new rubber ring for the capstan. Cleaned the volume potentiometer and the switch. Adjusted the tape speed and the height of the tape head. Cleaned the tape head and pinch roller. Added some missing screws for the casing.
