Sony Walkman TPS-L2 Personal Cassette Player. Relive cassette’s glory days in style with the original’holy grail’ of the Walkman world! Being the’original’ Walkman, this is sure to turn heads, especially for Guardians of the Galaxy fans. It has been fully serviced so is in full working order. It comes complete with new alkaline batteries and new retro look headphones with. Contrasting yellow earpads to get you started. Two headphone sockets share the experience! Separate left and right volume control. DC adaptor socket (adaptor not included). Fully tested and serviced, including. Switches, sockets and controls cleaned/de-oxidised. Head, capstans and pinch rollers cleaned. New battery door clip. This is in nice condition cosmetically considering it is around 40 years old, with some marks and surface wear expected from age and use. Please study photos carefully to satisfy yourself of the visual condition. This is an early model which doesn’t have the’Walkman’ logo as part of the door. It still has the first Walkman logo sticker on the door. This sticker is a bit worn, so you may want to take it off for a cleaner look. I have left it on, however, for the purpose of originality.
