This particular one is from my private collection and has had a full strip down and rebuild – No cracked drive wheels on this unit! Everything functions as it should, no scratchy volume controls or headphone sockets (There are two), Full logic controls, and ergonomic design makes it nice and tactile to operate. This was the last of the Sony DD line of quality units. The only flaw is a small dint in the bottom right hand corner of the unit – These are all metal construction. Soundwise everything is as it should be – The unit was professionally aligned around 24 months ago. I have only used this unit a handful of times as i have a number of devices, and tend to rotate them to keep them in good order.
