This machine is expressly for VHS/SVHS capture. It is kind of unique in the line-TBC containing VCRs in that it has two composite and two S-Video outputs simultaneously making simultaneous capturing and monitoring easier than other models. It does contain a line TBC that can be activated or deactivated within button on the front or within the onscreen menus. I’ve also recapped some other areas that I’ve seen go bad on other units, so this should be among the most reliable units out there. Most will use this to archive VHS tapes via the analog outputs however, so the drive tends not to be used unless you are archiving to DVD instead. Only other thing I’ll mention is that the fan does not appear to turn off even when in standby and I’ve seen units that will and won’t do that. The fan is very quiet and you’re unlikely to notice it, but I’d recommend unplugging the unit if you don’t plan to use it for extended periods of time. The crystal-clear high frequencies and the rich, deep midrange and low frequencies are exceptional, showcasing the pinnacle of SANYO’s technology at the time. Three motor rubber belts replaced. Cassette tape playback, rewind, fast forward, and recording functions confirmed. No crackling noise in the volume control. The exterior is also very clean, with almost no noticeable scratches, preserving its original beauty. The SONY SPORTS CFS-930 is a stereo radio cassette player released around 1987, made in Japan. The SONY SPORTS series was a line of radio cassette players and Walkmans designed primarily for the North American market from the 1980s to the 1990s, emphasizing outdoor use with its splash-proof and shock-resistant design. Therefore, the SONY SPORTS series has a history of being viewed as a special, almost reverse-imported item by some fans. This unit is an early model of the SONY SPORTS series, an even earlier model before the adoption of the blue logo. It is extremely rare to see this model in Japan, making it a historically rare collector’s item for the SONY SPORTS series. The design is still linear and shares many similarities with regular boomboxes, giving the impression of the eve of the series’ establishment as a sports model. Appearance: There are some minor scratches and discoloration due to age, but they are not noticeable from the front, and the condition is very good. There are no tears or missing rubber parts. There is some sun damage on the top, which appears to be from a sticker, and a crack-like mark on the back (though not a crack). Please check the photos. Cleaned the interior and exterior during disassembly. Removed as much dirt as possible from the exterior and finished with a polishing and protective agent. This listing is for an excellent condition Delco 5 EQ cassette radio. It is refurbished and is fully functional. This cassette radio was modified with Bluetooth for music only. Once you push the MUTE button on the volume knob it will change the feed from radio to Bluetooth. Push MUTE again and the radio will play. New capacitors were installed on the amplifier circuit board. To help with the installation of an aftermarket amplifier. The black face, green display and back lights match the stock mid-eighties Buick Grand National, Regal T-Type or GNX radio face, so it will look similar to the factory radio in your vehicle. It will also fit many other mid-eighties GM vehicles: Chevy. Monte Carlo SS, El Camino. GMC S yclone, GMC Typhoon, Camaro, Corvette, Hurst Olds or Olds 442. No code is set in the Delco Loc II security feature, but I will send instructions if you would like to set up a code. This radio is ready to plug in and play!
