A massive vintage Panasonic Boombox, the RX-CT900. This a vintage model released from the late 1980s to about 1991. It features detacheable speakers, graphic equalizer, twin cassette decks, digital radio and Dolby. An extremely LOUD device. Both speakers work excellently and the Left-Right balance control works correctly. We have cleaned all switch contacts so you these should work without interference or crackling. We have serviced the cassette deck, installed new belts and speed calibrated the playback. They both sound excellent and perform within spec. The record function on deck 2 is functional and records very nice audio. The radio functions as expected with good reception. The Aerial is intact. The overall condition is very nice, a great example of 80s boombox tech. There are a few scuffs and a little remaining dust in places. The speaker grills are not dented but there are a few light spots or marks in places. Comes with UK power cable. Measurements are approximately: 70cm x 22cm x 20cm. Here we have a. Technics RS-T230 Stereo Double Cassette Tape Deck Player/Recorder. Capacitor replacement on the main power board. Head cleaning and re-alignment on both decks. When using the word “Matched” it means in test results rather than in cosmetic looks. Whilst I endeavor to put tubes together from the same year and look the same, this is not always the case. I may have the same tube but from differing years matched up in test results, which means they may cosmetically or internally look a little different.. The numbers/letters in parentheses are Equivalents put in to help people to find the correct tube. If it does not say MATCHED then please do not consider them to be such. I use a TV7/U military spec Tester which is calibrated. I have 4 of these machines and all display a slightly differing value if I test the same tube, as two testers are never the same. So this shows what I get, and what you get may be slightly different. So all test results are a guide only. I also use a Hickok 752 /800/600 or Amplitrex AT1000 for testing. All tubes have passed the Gas and short tests. Rectifiers and Diode tubes do not have Transconductance values. IF YOU’RE UNHAPPY WITH AN ITEM.. I make mistakes once in a while. I try to resolve any issue to both our best interests. I also pack well. Take plenty of pictures and send them to us as this helps alot. I think it is only fair to ask the carrier responsible for the damage to pay for it. Please be patient enough for this process. All controls and switches have been de-oxited. Very smooth running machine. Rewind/FF at regular speed. No slow down at the end of tape. Heads and pinch roller have seen very minimal use. Battery compartment is super clean and absolutely no sign of any corrosion. This is one of very few players that has Ferrochrome setting and therefore, an used Sony Ferrochrome cassette is included. Comes with original leather case but it has seen better days. We cleaned and polished it. No strap and power adapter are included. We tested it with D-Cell batteries and 2Xbatteries are included in the sale. If the output level from your digital device is too high -you might get distortion because those contents on cell phones /tablets are already high gain digital format. If you’re playing any old tapes that haven’t been played in a while we would suggest you to have a head cleaner handy. Sony Walkman TPS-L2 Personal Cassette Player. Relive cassette’s glory days in style with the original’holy grail’ of the Walkman world! Being the’original’ Walkman, this is sure to turn heads, especially for Guardians of the Galaxy fans. It has been fully serviced so is in full working order. It comes complete with new alkaline batteries and new retro look headphones with. Contrasting yellow earpads to get you started. Two headphone sockets share the experience! Separate left and right volume control. DC adaptor socket (adaptor not included). Fully tested and serviced, including. Switches, sockets and controls cleaned/de-oxidised. Head, capstans and pinch rollers cleaned. New battery door clip. This is in nice condition cosmetically considering it is around 40 years old, with some marks and surface wear expected from age and use. Please study photos carefully to satisfy yourself of the visual condition. This is an early model which doesn’t have the’Walkman’ logo as part of the door. It still has the first Walkman logo sticker on the door. This sticker is a bit worn, so you may want to take it off for a cleaner look. I have left it on, however, for the purpose of originality.
