Fully restored Sony WM-D3. It is in fully working order. It was completely disassembled, cleaned from old oil and grease and re-lubricated. Center gear, capstan ring rubber, counter belt and RWD reel gear have been replaced with new parts. Very silent mechanism, there is no more “clicking”. Speed and wow/flutter adjusted with calibration tape and wow/flutter computer software and measured around 0.10% Sony specification 0.13%. All electrolytic capacitors were replaced with high end Audio Grade Nichicon’s pictures 9 and 10. Battery compartment is very clean, no acid leak. Battery cover is present. All LED’s are working. The player is in pristine condition, no scratches, considering its age. For collectors and ready to be used daily. See my other Walkmans auctions.
