The first generation of Sony’s one of the best Walkman range at the time, the DD. This silver unit is providing great sound. Here is some small mark on the door close to Sony logo but overall visually in good condition. Battery compartment is clean. Service what I have done to it. Cleaned and greased the mechanics. Replaced a new center gear. Replaced a new rubber ring for the capstan. Changed the PCB. Cleaned the volume potentiometer and the switch. Cleaned the tape head and pinch roller. Added some missing screws for the casing. Added the missing battery cover. Reglued the window. Cleaned the interior and exterior. Sound test can be heard from here.
